Introduction
Mitu AI is a smart, approachable companion designed to help individuals and small businesses streamline a wide range of everyday tasks using the power of artificial intelligence. From automating workflows to simplifying decision-making, Mitu AI aims to make advanced AI tools accessible and useful to everyone.
In late 2024, I was approached by the team at MituLabs to join the project and lead the design of a high-impact, conversion-focused landing page for their newly developed AI platform. My goal was to create a user experience that not only communicated Mitu’s value clearly but also built trust, sparked curiosity, and encouraged early sign-ups.
To ensure the strategy and design were grounded in real user expectations, I conducted a competitive analysis of existing AI tools, productivity platforms, and onboarding flows. This research provided key insights into how users interact with AI-driven services, what builds trust in automation, and how to simplify complex capabilities into relatable benefits—all of which directly shaped the structure, tone, and flow of the final experience.
Problem
Small businesses and solo entrepreneurs often juggle too many tools, wasting time switching between apps for scheduling, content creation, and analytics.
Goal
Create an AI-powered productivity assistant that centralises daily business tasks in one intuitive platform — from idea to execution.
The objective was to immediately engage visitors, highlight the simplification of tasks with AI and encourage sign-ups.
Discovery
Conducted surveys with 30 small business owners to identify the 5 most time-consuming tasks.
Found 65% frustration with tool fragmentation and lack of automation.
Design
Developed clean, minimal UI with AI-driven suggestions embedded in workflows.
Created component library for faster iteration across features.
Impacts & results
Reduced context switching between apps by an estimated 40%.
Increased daily engagement during pilot by +35% in 3 weeks.
Positive feedback from early testers on AI-assisted scheduling and content prompts.
